It is the policy of the Tahoe
Vistana Inn that any guest bringing a pet (dogs only) weighing
80lbs. and under, must read and sign this form and adhere to
all the policies that have been set forth. If you are unable
to sign this agreement and comply with the policies within,
then we are unable to accommodate you at this time.
Fees:
As the registered guest of the Tahoe Vistana Inn, you
are financially responsible for any damages caused by your
pet, and must have a valid credit card number on file.
There is a $100 refundable damage deposit required upon
check-in. The deposit can be made in the form of cash, debit
or credit card pre-authorization. This amount will be charged
separately from the amount for your stay. If any or all of the
damage deposit is to be used to repair the room, you will be
given a full statement of repairs and cost. All pet friendly
rooms will be inspected prior to check-out. If the amount of
damage to the room exceeds the deposit amount it will be
charged to the credit card number that is on file for your
room immediately, and a statement of repairs will be
provided.
There is a $15 per night per pet fee (limit 2, per
manager’s discretion) for each night of your stay, which will
be added to your regular nightly fee.
You, the guest, are responsible for any excessive
cleaning of your room, beyond the standard cleaning. This
includes, but is not limited to, the removal of pet odors,
stains and excessive hair removal from bedding and
furniture.
Policies:
* All pets must be on a treatment plan to prevent
fleas.
* All pets must be on a leash at all times when not
inside your assigned room.
* All pets must be
crated/caged when left alone in the room, for the safety of
your pet as well as the safety of the motel staff. Any
violation of this policy will result in an additional $100
charge. We reserve the right to refuse housekeeping to any
room where the pet is not crated/caged.
* Pets must be
walked in the designated areas only. Flowerbeds and common
areas are not acceptable places to allow your pet to relieve
themselves. The designated pet walking area is located behind
the dumpster and will be indicated on your property map.
* All pets
being walked in designated areas must be cleaned up after.
Plastic bags are available from the front desk in the lobby,
and must be placed in the dumpster outside – please do not use
your in-room trash can.
* Any noise or behavior complaints concerning your pet
will be addressed immediately. If you are unable to alleviate
the issue, then you and your pet will be asked to leave, and
will be financially responsible for any time remaining on your
stay.
